Green line: Anza's 150 ms, measured inside the validator network. Your browser adds the trip to a public RPC node, so blocks here read a little higher.

Why now

Solana just got final in a blink.

Until today a Solana payment took 12.8 seconds to become irreversible. Since 21 October 2026 it takes about 150 milliseconds. That's checkout speed.

21 Oct 2026150 ms

Alpenglow took over Solana mainnet at slot 459,653,000. Anza: "finality reduced from 12.8 seconds to 150 milliseconds."

Nobody in the middle. The payment goes straight from the payer's wallet to the address on the request. AlpenPay builds the request and reads the public chain, nothing else.

Solana's network fee, paid by whoever pays (a base fee of 0.000005 SOL per signature). AlpenPay adds nothing.

150 ms is Anza's figure for Alpenglow, measured inside the validator network. AlpenPay times each block from your browser through a public RPC, so it adds the network trip and usually reads a few hundred milliseconds. Either way, it's final before the customer puts the phone away.

Any wallet that reads Solana Pay QR codes. In a desktop browser, Pay with wallet works with Phantom, Solflare and Backpack.

AlpenPay reads the transaction and checks what reached which wallet. If it doesn't match the request, the receipt says Check instead of Final and shows what actually moved.

Your browser hears about a block and about its finality from a public RPC node, so each reading includes that trip. The gap between the two is what we show. Validators themselves see about 150 ms.

Yes. Configure a button in the Builders section and paste one script tag. Every click opens a checkout with a fresh one-time key, and the payment is watched and timed on the pay page.
